Life-Ready Classes provide structured, practical education that supports self-sufficiency, healthy decision-making, and long-term stability for individuals and families. These classes focus on essential life skills including nutrition and food safety, health and wellness, financial literacy, self-advocacy, and personal development.
Delivered through interactive, hands-on instruction, the program is designed to be accessible and inclusive for participants with diverse abilities and learning styles. Trained facilitators and community partners guide participants through real-world applications while connecting them to supportive resources.
Life-Ready Classes help participants build confidence, improve daily decision-making, and strengthen independence. By addressing foundational life skills, the program contributes to improved health outcomes, increased self-reliance, and stronger community engagement—advancing long-term individual and community stability.

Designed especially for seniors (65+), adults with developmental disabilities, and veterans — enjoy early access to fresh food and pantry items.

We’ve put together a simple step-by-step tutorial to make booking your appointment easy and stress-free! These steps will help ensure everyone has the opportunity to access our pantry.
✅ You’re welcome to come once a week.
📞 Phone appointments are available only for clients aged 65 and older.
🆔 Please bring a valid ID to your appointment.
🛍️ Feel free to bring your own grocery bags to carry your items.

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, we proudly celebrated a major milestone with the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Community Heart Feed The Need Food Pantry!
It was an unforgettable afternoon filled with community spirit, inspiring conversations, and shared commitment to uplifting families, promoting food equity, and empowering adults with disabilities through job training and service.
