At EWF our mission is to enhance the lives of people living with developmental disabilities which will lead them to a productive, independent, and socially integrated life in their communities. Working with I/DD for almost 2 decades by guiding, supporting and providing services for our individuals and our community. We have built connections with the San Gabriel Pomona and Inland Regional centers. These collaborations have allowed our organization to connect with service coordinators as well as other service providers to find more individuals who are interested in furthering their career and employment. This, in turn, will open opportunities for job coaches who are willing to guide our individuals with I/DD.
Earth to Table Project believes that every person, in every household, can connect to their food source through the act of growing it. This act reminds us that we are of the earth, that we cannot live without the earth; that our needs are met, not by the economy, but by the earth. Growing food will re-integrate us with deep ecology, guiding our culture towards a sustainable, abundant future, freed from financial inequalities.
We are fighting for food security and the health of our ecosystems. We are fighting for resilient communities that support one another and for strong local economies. Through gardening, we are seeking a connection to the cycle of life, and for good, tasty food…from Earth to table.
Every week we hold our Earth to Table food pantry to support families within our community who are facing food scarcity.
