Theresa Jones is a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of championing innovation, change, and effective solutions within the community. Currently serving as an Executive at Express Workforce Foundation, Theresa oversees a range of initiatives including community-based programs, vocational training center development, strategy implementation, program management, transportation community, and regulatory proficiency. With over 20 years of dedicated service in human services, Theresa has earned respect and recognition as a prominent figure in the intellectual developmental disability community.
As an African American leader, Theresa is deeply committed to empowering communities with knowledge on creating accessible and nutritious food options, while mobilizing resources to achieve positive health outcomes. She firmly believes in the abundance of opportunities and resources available for everyone to thrive, actively seeking and seizing occasions to realize this vision. Theresa Jones stands as a powerful voice in the community, continually breaking new ground for the advancement of minority populations across various sectors.
Theresa's passion for driving change and her commitment to community welfare make her an invaluable asset in fostering progress and inclusivity.
Program Director, LaToria (Tori) Brown
My name is LaToria (Tori) Brown, and I am thrilled to join Community Heart Feed The Need as the newest Program Director. For over two decades, I have been dedicated to serving the Inland Empire community through education, initially as a teacher for a non-profit organization. My passion for empowering others and fostering healthy lifestyles has only grown stronger over the years.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my energetic family. Together with my fiancé, we are blessed with five wonderful children—three girls, two boys—and two adorable French Bulldogs.
My academic journey includes earning an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management. These credentials have prepared me well for my role, where I am excited to build upon Community Heart’s foundation of promoting sustainable and healthy living.
One of my guiding principles is encapsulated in a quote by Rita Pearson: "Every child deserves a champion: An adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be." I am committed to being that champion within our community, ensuring that every family has the resources and support needed to thrive.
