Theresa Jones is a visionary leader with a proven history of driving innovation, change, and effective community solutions. As an Executive at Express Workforce Foundation, she oversees community programs, vocational training, strategic planning, program management, transportation initiatives, and regulatory matters. With over 20 years of experience in human services, Theresa is a respected figure in the intellectual developmental disability community.
As an African American leader, she is dedicated to empowering communities with knowledge about accessible, nutritious food options and mobilizing resources for positive health outcomes. Believing in abundant opportunities for all, Theresa actively works to turn this vision into reality. A strong advocate for minority advancement, she consistently breaks new ground in fostering progress and inclusivity.
Program Director, LaToria (Tori) Brown
My name is LaToria (Tori) Brown, and I am thrilled to join Community Heart Feed The Need as the newest Program Director. For over two decades, I have been dedicated to serving the Inland Empire community through education, initially as a teacher for a non-profit organization. My passion for empowering others and fostering healthy lifestyles has only grown stronger over the years.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my energetic family. Together with my fiancé, we are blessed with five wonderful children—three girls, two boys—and two adorable French Bulldogs.
My academic journey includes earning an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management. These credentials have prepared me well for my role, where I am excited to build upon Community Heart’s foundation of promoting sustainable and healthy living.
One of my guiding principles is encapsulated in a quote by Rita Pearson: "Every child deserves a champion: An adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be." I am committed to being that champion within our community, ensuring that every family has the resources and support needed to thrive.
I look forward to partnering with you all as we embark on this journey together, making a lasting impact and fostering positive change from within our community.
